You can also make a 'bump' feeder. All you need is a cone for the bottom of your container. I use an old mop handle for the stick. Put a small stick through the mop handle to keep it from falling out. The animal has to bump the stick to make the feed fall out. If you hang it high enough the hogs can't reach it. Walmart sells them for $20 if you need to buy one to see how it works. No batteries and the corn doesn't get wet. I got a bunch of them.
