would ya'll in the know say most mangrove are caught in water from 100ft-80ft or 60ft-40ft.

thanks, i've only caught em around 100ft but a couple of know it all buddy's of mine were trying to say u never catch em after 100ft , until he seen capt. tommy's reply. We all fished with capt. tommy before and that shut em up quick. thanks capt.

There's plenty deeper than 100
I've caught some at 240' before with a guide out of Venice. We caught one on the bottom last weekend at a rig in 160' out of Fourchon

Sorry to say but most of the mangroves I catch are in water deeper than 100 feet. Live croakers or pogie chunks drifted on Mustad 39941 4/0 ultra point circle hooks.
