Headed down to Grand Isle this morning expecting to do well fishing today. The weather was great and tide was falling. I prefer a rising tide when fishing but don't mind fishing a falling tide on such a beautiful day. Started off in the surf at Elmers Island and started picking up fish on pogies carolina rigged and cherry tko's under a cork.

After the surf bite died down I had only a few more trout to finish my limit. Stopped at one of my roadside spots and finished up my limit along with a redfish and a couple flounder.

Was a great day on the isle and didn't spend any money hauling the boat down there.
