I'm about to bring my camper back to my hunting lease. My onan generator wouldn't start (probably because I ran funky gas in it), and since I know nothing about engines, I messed with the starting wires and made a mess of them. Anyone know of a good mechanic to bring it to that could fix it? I live in Port Allen. Someone on the west side of the river would be great, but if I have to I can cross the bridge. It ran great at the end of the season. I'm sure it's a simple fix. I just don't want to bring it to Miller's RV, because I know they'll take me to the cleaners. After all, it's just my hunting camper, not my prized motorhome. If I cant fix it, I'll just bring my home generator out during the season. Where my lease is, there's no water or electricity. A good friend sold it to me last season for $100. It drives, it's clean and everything(except the generator) works. Check it out. We call it 'Casa Venado'.
