What are you tryin to catch with the noodles ? Gar fish or catfish ? If catfish usually just tie a good sized hook Like a 4/0 and bait with shad . For gar fish you need a steel leader about 18 ' long with a number 4/0 hook also , and we usually use whole mullet .

Went out this morning had 5/0 hooks and put dead shad on some and dead shrimp on a few only caught one garfish. The noodles that had shrimp on them something took the bait off of. The noodles with shad werent touched.

Times are hard right now , maybe ? The water has been backing up for a week now . On top of that the river is filled with millions of shad and the fish don't have to put out much effort to eat . Basically just open their mouth and shad will swim in ... Hopefully in the near future the water should start falling out and we can go back to catchin . Also you can try live bait , perch when you can catch them . The bigger the better .

Man they Fun to Catch!!!!!!

One thing I've seen on Blind River is alot Shad Schooling everywheres there no Shortage there so it will be hard to Catch Fishin Juggin, Tickfaw i haven't fished so I'm not sure there, Amite i have've seen Schools of shad too so there alot them there too good Luck!!!!

Other thing to worry about is Gators too taking your line w/cut bait or shad alot on them out there too
