Capt. Bob's Leeville Report
IFished out of Boudreaux’s in Leeville Wednesday thru Sunday. The wind was down so I took my guests outside and hit the Big Trout out of Northwest Shoal and the Deep Bayou area in the afternoons. Incoming tide till mid-morning and hard out-going in the afternoon was the order of the week. Our afternoon catches had Flounder and Redfish and all trips had to put up with the occasional small Shark hook-up. Live minnows under a cork and mostly Carolina rigged with light weight pegged with no more than 1/8oz. above a 1/0 kahle hook.
Saturday and Sunday were tough as the wind and rain persisted in ruining another weekend, so like last weekend we shot another show on where and how to catch fish when the weather is brutal and you can’t get outside. These two editions of Between the Banks will start airing on LCN and betweenthebanks.com next and were filmed in the protected water of D’s Canal last weekend and this past weekend. If the wind is down, Fornation or Philo should be good as usual. If it blows, things will be tougher. Weather forcasts are not in agreement as there may be some unsettled weather coming.You can always call me on the BTB fishing line for a update @ 504.458.9451. Capt Bob can you tell me how long of a run to get to east timbalier from Boudreaux's? Thanks in advance.
Both today and yesterday the wind blew from the east southeast to east north east up to 20 mph. Been fishing in the South Texaco Field which is on TV and betweenthebanks.com this weekend. Hope it lays, will post if it does.
The King of Fornation, Linwood Stilly suffered a heart attack last Thursday and underwent surgery in Hammond. He also suffered a stroke yesterday. He has helped many people learn about fishing Fornation Islands out of Boudreaux’s and he and his wife Brenda are considered regulars. All prayers will be appreciated.
Bottomfeeder. Yhe route to East Tim from Leeville is two fold. Safest route is down Bayou Lafourche to Belle Pass then turn right. Worst route is getting to the island from the north. Sand bars everywhere and you must know the route.

We were in Leeville Tue afternoon thru this am.
Saw the big blue and white boat on the trailer .
Was going to call and see if you were up in the room but figured you may be napping.
Winds were awful. tried to fish some of the road side spots but the tide was falling to hard to fish efectivley.
I work with Linwood also ...great guy many prayers sent his way. Cant wait to see him at the cleaning station and work again.

Hey Capt. Bob, I'll be fishing the area on Thursday morning if the good lord says so. I'm launching out of GM. I was wondering if you can give me a heads up if you go out tues. or wed. on a good area to start looking at. I was thinking maybe Philo Brice or Fournation Islands. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
