Fished out of Fourchon Thursday . From 06:00 till 09:00 we fished East Timbalier. Very little water movement which also meant very little movement of any Specks. We then ran back to Fourchon and fished the beach around the barges. We fished our way down towards Elmer's Island following the birds. Started picking up a few nice trout on soft plastics. Around 11:00 the little wind that we had laid down to a flat calm along with a good strong tide moving out. We fished till about 2:00 then the storms started kicking up and we headed to the landing. Finished the day with 25 nice Specks and 30 white Trout. Even some of the White Trout had a good size to them.
I spoke to a co-worker that had been wade fishing the beaches of Grand Isle and Elmer's for the past couple days. They did very well using live Shrimp.

I brought my kids and wife Thursday(6/14).
We hit the beach behind the rocks at Belle Passe for daylight and found clean water but no fish.
Ran to Cassa Tete and picked up a few trout but not many.
Ran back to the rocks at Belle Passe and started picking up trout and reds as the tide started moving. Was also catching plenty white trout but they were smallish and we threw em back.
Saw the storms coming in and decided to call it a day. Had 25 specks and 6 reds. Most all caught on artificial on popping corks.

a.c.man - Finally got a day off during the week but working the weekend. Off Monday and Tuesday but weather looks like its not going to coperate. See you there soon.
Who Me?.... On the way back there was a boat at the end of the rocks that had two kids on it that were pulling in a couple fish as we passed. I was wondering how the boats did on the back side that we saw there earlier that morning.
