Grand Isle Bank Fishing Report 6/12/2012
After a long 6 days of work I was off today and of coarse going fishing! Couldn't find anyone to go me this morning so I went solo on the side of the road in grand isle. The water was filthy dirty so I wasn't expecting a bunch. Got to my honey hole and trout were busting bait all over the place. Tied on my top water lure and caught 16 healthy trout in 19 casts. Finished up my limit and went chasing reds.
Ended up with my limit of 25 trout. 2 reds and 6 flounder! I wish someone was there with me video taping the topwater action! It was phenomenal. Trout popping my zara spook in the air. Classic topwater action on a rough day. Gotta go to know!

I love fishing Hwy 1. I normally kayak fish.
Did you catch those off hwy 1 or road to Elmers?
