Stress Cracks in a Pirogue
Starting to notice some stress cracks on the sides of my pirogue. What is the best way to repair these?? fiberglass patch, etc...?? if so where do you buy them? Thanks in Adavance!

I spoke to the guy over at Chapmans Shipwright a while ago. I have owned 2 Chapman pirogues for over 20 years. Chapmans offers 'repairs' to used pirogues. Contact Steve. steve@pirogue.com or at (504)277-6526. I think he said it was @ $100.00 for crack repair and to repair the wood around the top of the pirogue. My figures may be off, but thats what I remember.
