I take it by the lack of response that Lafitte is not a good kayak fishing destination?

I had luck in two area
It take some paddling but Mama Cut is a great area but it is a mile paddle than you need to pull your kayak over the rocks to get there. The other spot is the Pen. I lauch from the Lower Lafitte Park and take the canel by the boat builder,the canel by the last small bridge before the park. I have caught reds and bass and even a few trout. Hope this helps

Capt. Bob fishes out of Leeville Louisiana for Trout and Redfish and also works the coast for those big sow Trout and Bull Redfish. He also does Snapper trips along the coast and will resume offshore bluwater trips in the near future. Rates are flexible.
