KAYAK info ?
i have fished and hunted out of a 14' pirouge made of 3/8 marine plywood , 30' bottom 10-1/2 ' sides built by a true cajun and was wondering if anyone could tell me if a GOOD kayak would be anymore stable for fishing.

yep
you not gonna swamp a sit on top I have taken waves to the chest in mine in the lake----some gear may wash out but the water just drains out dats a BFT as they say, LOL

......You Get What You Pay For In the Kayak. $1080.00 is The Jackson Coosa, My Ride....awsome Yak, Very stable, Lots of cool storage and can stand in it if you choose. The $500 version at Acadamy is a pretty decent ride for the $, I have one as a spare for the buddies that dont have one, not all that comfortable and lacks effeciant storage BUT only 5 bills. Then there is the Hobie's at over 3k...You get what you pay for...If you are around the North Shore you are more then welcome to take either one of mine for a ride and see what ya think....

a kayak is 100 times more stable than a pirogue, You can get a decent fishing Yak for $300-$400. you want a sit on top style.
