I had the opportunity this week to make a trip to one of my friend’s ranch in south Texas for a turkey hunt. My buddy set up in a tower deer blind while I was on the ground over looking a small field. He was not hunting but taking pictures while I hunted. This was pretty cool as he was able to capture some neat pictures of these two gobblers when they came into the field. I worked these two birds for over and hour and had them gobble over a 100 times before they committed to my call and came in. It was a neat and exciting hunt and my buddy watched as it unfolded right in front of him.
