'Fish Of The Day'

Made trip down to Port Sulfur...Reds were biting but had trouble landing the trout ended up with 6 reds 4 nice trout 1 drum and 1 flounder....Trout really havent shown up around Bay Ronquille but had alot more success fishing cuts closer in with cleaner water and water movement. Fished with live minnow but had the most success fishing with a spinner bait with an electric chicken on it. good luck fishing and let me know if anyone has any success in the area plan on making another trip this weekend

I agree, but thought it might be a little earlier this years given the lack of winter we had, plus the dry spring we're having. Usually the shoreline kicks off the weekend of Jazz fest, I still think it might kick off a little earlier, this year. I hope it does, I can't wait for the beach bite to start
