Selling and buying boat motors

We have had issues with our 40 hp yamaha (bought it used with boat) since we bought it and have taken it to differenct repair places without much success. We are thinking of selling it and buying a new one. Are there any dealerships that will do a trade in on motors? Any other suggestions welcome.
