Another Team Hero fishing expedition has come and gone. Those not familiar with Team Hero (Teamhero.com), it is a day in which a group of guys with boats take out veterans for a free day of fishing. Today we had a great time. Not much to say about the fishing as we had to search deep into the marsh for reds (Except for Elton he stuck it out looking for trout and was able to find a few even in chocolate milk like conditions). We actually didn't fish too long due to the high winds and knowing that Robin Richardson was frying up some speckled trout and french fries for the guys back at the launch. Big thanks to DJ Torres and Capt. Elton for volunteering and towing your boats down to help out and Robin for cooking. So far Team Hero has a reputation of picking some of the toughest conditions to catch fish in but I'm hopeful that the next showdown in May the guys will finally not get windburn and load the boats with fish.
