The wind was the story for today, but the trout still bit a little. My old friend Merlin aka 'Thunder Child' came and helped catch a mess of fish. Again today it was slow till the after noon when things started getting better. It never got real good but it was good enough. When I left from fishing today the bite was getting better but it was time to get home. Cocodrie Cocahoe coco pepper was the ticket again today. At one point we got into a school of small trout early today but no keepers. Also today the big reds showed up and we put our 2 in the box and released another 25+ pound bull red. With a nice box of fish it was time to go get ready for my granddaughter's visit this evening. The trout are here so come on down and get you some.
