went out with HogBit , Caskey & Boggs today . got off to a rough start .. Hogbit's dogs were off trashing while the others were tieing our shoes ..

Billy gave out a Howllllllllllllllll 'I'm in chest deep water and aint getting off this log' bark .. prolly still shell scocked from the last time Hogbit and Caskey almost drown there dog trying to cross the swamp .

Boggs had his mind made up on heading to a mark on the GPS i had put there the year before .. as he did , HogBit went to get his dog and me & Caskey took a lil seat down ..

Boggs got 400yds north of us when i heard Lil Buddy light up .. Bill & Hunter pulled to him and the race was on .. they headed south in between us and the river and showed bayed up on the bank 800yds down .. we run back to boat and as we got 50yds from the boat when we hear a boat pass .. as the boat passed where the dogs showed bayed , the GPS showed the dogs moving down river about 75yds off the bank ..

i thought to my self 'i know they didn't pick our dogs & hog up !' as we try to catch up with the boat we see Bill & Buddy taking turns dunking the hogs head under the water almost in the middle of the river 'wide like Whiskey Bay' .. i snap Major to the side of Caskey's boat as we get close ..

The Sow swims right up to Major , like she wanted a kiss .. well she got one ! he latched on to her nose and we went after the dogs ..

on this hunt was a guy that i gave the nickname 'Cutter' to , he pulled out a pig sticker and got his first knifed hog .. lol was the easiest recovery i have ever been apart of ! get back to the other boats as Boggs and Hogbit walk up with a nice 100lb sow !!
