How is the water level looking? Heading down there this weekend. Going to take my alum boat instead of the center console since it looks like we're going to have winds out of the north. Still learning the area so any advice for this weekend?

Water level good now, but the north wind will lower it. If i were you i take the center console this SAT. CATFISH LAKE GET pretty ruff. I wood fish bayou blue south, we went out 2 weeks back had 10 reds. Fish hard , move a lot till you fine them.We wood b out thier but it is my wife and granddaughter birthday.
