Belle Chasse Hunting???

I am a reserve sailor crossed assigned out to NAS JRB down in Belle Chasse. I am originally from Indiana and will be missing spring turkey season back home because I will be down here on orders. Just seeing if anyone could give me some helpful information on any locations near me where I could go call in some Louisiana Gobblers!!! Thank you in advance.

I think Sherburne WMA would be the closest to you. Bout 2 hrs from Belle Chase. They have 2 primitive campsites to use though.
