Snipe
Made a snipe hunt yesterday and they were thick, dog worked well and we were done in less than an hour. Killed 8 in 15 shots which is pretty good for me shooting snipe. The birds were holding in the short grass regrowing in a burn from this October.

My buddy went back THIS MORNING (endymion rainpocalypse) and snuck in another 1 hour limit about a mile from where I hunted Wednesday!

That is some of the most fun hunting especially with new hunters that have neve tried shooting snipe. Our place is thick with them. May give them a try. Filming a hunt from hunter's field of vision would be cool. You can definately burn through some shells trying to get a few.
