Need a little help.
I just bought a used 1997 300ex and i need a way to slow down the bike for my kids to ride. Bike is to fast. It doesnt have a adjustment screw for the throttle.does anyone know any other ways to adjust the throtle so that the bike doesnt go so fast. i would appreciate anyones help.

stop set
There are small stops that can be had, they are 2 piece and go around the cable, then tighten up, keeps the cable from going up into the sheath, the end of the cable sheath acts as a hard stop, adjust the 2 pc. stop as needed. I think you should be able to get them at a lawnmower repair shop.

just about the only way would be to cut a small chock yes chock of wood and put it in behind throttle linkage under the co er on handle bars to limit travel. unless you can fab up a restrictor plate! happy rigging
