I scouted this place last year and one of my buddies hunted it twice last year. I found decent sign tracks, scrapes, hookings in some parts. All my buddy saw on his two hunts were turkeys and pigs. Its bow hunting only and most of the area is very thick. If you go you should head all the way to the back (North)where the pipeline and creek run through the property, this is the most open area with good feeder trees and where i found most sign. This is a small track of land but really no one goes out there. I spoke to the only other person out there after I had scouted who happend to be coming out from his hunt, he told me that him and one other guy were the only people that he knew of to hunt the place and both of them had killed good bucks on the WMA. Im sure it can be a productive place but i not too much for bowhunting anymore. Hope this helped.
Yes there are enough hardwoods to squirrel hunt. The underbrush can be thick in places though, but there is a good trail system through the WMA. I was planning on making a February Squirrel/Rabbit hunt there myself.
