I have bow hunted Giles in the late season. I didn't kill anything but the experience was exceptional. Their facilites are first class, with great food and people. I saw quite a few bucks in the 140 range but never could seal the deal. I would definitly recommend Giles Island, you won't regret it. As for a guide, ask for Boudreaux, he knew the area very well and as I said before put me on deer every hunt. Good luck if you decide to go.

I have bow hunted Giles Island 5 times. It is an exceptional place. I killed a 145' 9 point there. The people are awesome and the hunting is top notch. You will not be disappointed in the trip. You really cannot beat it for the price. There are no guarantees in hunting, but I can guarantee you a good time. I have had opportunities at everything from 140' deer to 165' deer.
A few of the guides I recommend are Benji, Mike Martin and Boudreaux.
