Tom holds two nice reds that he caught. He proved that he was still the leader in that family. All
It is a simple question I asked about why the pictures and post are being put up in the Month of Sept that clearly took place in the month of May. I thought I wrote it clearly. Is it a common practice for Capts to post pictures of trips from four months past with no dates or information saying it is a old post? Do you think it is fair for sportsman on this site to be mislead thinking this was a recent trip And catch? I do not. I clearly asked the Capt for a explanation. What is your beef sir? Do you like being lied to? I for one do not. No more on this.
What's up with this post man? C'mon, are you hurting that bad that you need to dig up something from the past in an attempt to mislead people in order to get business? I wasn't going to say anything but now this has me quite upset. The other day I noticed a report from a guide whose boat was on the lift all day and never fished! But yet he puts a report up on here that he caught fish that day. This is a form of false advertisement and falls under the Louisiana Deceptive Trade Practices laws (51:1401-1418). You should hope that other guides in your area don't sue the pants off of you, because I assure you, they can.
My,My, MY. What difference does it make what fishin trip the man uses to advertise his bussiness. there are adds on TV that the people are dead and gone but still sellin thier stuff. Do y'all need real time posts to go chase to catch fish. get a life and go learn to find your own honey holes
Its seems to me that there may be some type of personal grudge here. Only reason I say this is because in other post from another prominent captain from Dularge, he talks about fishing with the same 2 customers refered to in this post. And as far as sueing someone over something as petty as falsly posting a fishing report is crazy and part of whats wrong country. If you don't like the OP private message him and deal with it that way, no need to try to make him look like something he's not!
Fishaholic,
Not saying who's right or wrong. But look at dates from other captain and you will see May 11. Think that is where he is getting his info from.
If I'm going fishing on my own, I really don't care what the fish are doing.
If I'm about to drop $500 on a guided fishing trip, yeah, I'd prefer to read honest reports.
The report that I recently submitted was not posted to mislead or deceive anyone. It has apparently done just that, and for those of you who spoke up regarding the post for what it was, I thank you. For those of you who are looking for the wrong in simply posting a report, I hope you find something better to do with your idle time. It was an older fishing trip that I had never posted and just felt like doing so. I did it more for my Canadian friends than anything else. If I misled you, in any way, I'm sorry. It was not intentional, I posted no dates or location of fish, just a good ole fishing trip. Kind of makes me feel good to know that so many of you are following me so closely. There's a saying that goes something like this, author withheld, you who are without fault - cast the first stone. Catch fish and be happy!!
Just to clear this up further. Tom and Mike booked this trip with me in May. They fished 4 days in which I took them 2 days and Capt Gerald took them 2 days. I can tell all of you that Capt Gerald is a great guy, honest and true! He did not post this report to mislead anyone. People like Capt Gerald are a rare find these days and I'm lucky to have a great working relationship with him!! Good luck fishing.
Capt Gerald I thought you put a new yamaha on a couple months ago.Did you have problems with it???. I see you have that old mercury back on your boat.
