I use cable ties. You will need to keep a pair of pliers handy to tighten them up after the first round or so. I actually use a shower curtain ring then a cable tie. That way when I'm done I can open the shower curtain ring and it will fall off. I use curtain rings on my crawfish nets too, without the cable tie. If you tighten them up after a couple of passes it won't need it any more. Happy Crabbin

Large safety pins from hardware store....they work great.....

We used to use metal clothes hangers that were made into a safety pin shape and the line that is run from side to side of the net was interwoven around the pin to hold the pin in place. The metal can be run through the neck bone to hold the bait.

I use the little cheap shower curtain hooks. You can get pretty cheap. Makes hooking chicken or turkey necks quick and easy.

Use some Metal Cloths Hangers, Bends them Like Safety pin Sorta Every1 Has somethoses xtra in there Closet....................

it wasnt meant to be ugly, it was the way you worded it and no offense to you but i see the litter all to often that some people just dont care about our water in la. like i saisd, no offense. i'm sure most of our fellow readers respect mother nature and what she is giving us to use.
