As always opening weekend of teal season in the rice fields did not dissapoint! As the sun came over the horizon saturday morning the war began! The eco from the pit blast in conjuntion with the surrounding wing shooters made for a steady WOOOMP WOOOMP WOOOMP in the ears. Although a little slower than most years the boys and I had a limit floatin before long. Sunday morning we decicded to bring a few more guns and fling some more steal at the fast movers. Waves of the Blue Angle air strikes came in and poffs of feathers is what was left. As the gun smoke setteled and the white down floated in the breeze another pile of little blue winged fast movers found themselves rapped in bacon and cream cheese. Good start to bird season!
