Hello and Welcom to SWLA Le Chien Cookers Facebook Page! We are the newest Chapter of the Louisiana Dutch Oven Society. What do we do? We like to cook!
Our first Dutch Oven Gathering (DOG) will be Saturday August 27th at Sam Houston Jones State Park. Pots on the table by 12:30 PM. Dishes should be cooked in Cast Iron cooked w/ any choice of heat source. Don't camp cook? You can bring plates, utensils, napkins or drinks, we always need those items too!
