Lab Hog Dog

Put my lab on a 80-100 lb pig for the first time. Had a feeling he would be a good hog dog and turned out he'll be running with the pack soon as he gets a vest.

I will have you know... from first hand experience that cane will eat a hog. After he got rushed and bumped on the first try he had a grudge against a hog hahaha. He bayed pretty tight on try #2

...don't let them go in w/o a vest (remember it's 'ya turn to be his best friend)...even a small hog has a advantage and knows his woods...three dogs work best, one on each ear and one on the tail...I have fond memories of trying to climb a stump on a logg'n road in Honey Island while heavy duty nature was call'n and if you can find spike collars, buy them !!! cheer
