Inshore Fishing in Lake Pontchartrain / Northshore in Southeast Louisiana

Limits of specks at the tressels

With the present reduction of the winds, anglers have been able to fish Lake Pontchartrain.

Boats returning to north shore launches by 7:30AM have caught their limits of very decent size specks. Anglers were fishing the bridges during an incoming tide at positions closest to the south shore.
Most were caught with live bait, but some were caught with Deadly Dudleys.
