Alligator snapping turtles

Can anyone tell me the laws concerning alligator snapping turtles?From what I find its legal to posess one a day.Also what would you do with two turtles bout 60lbs apiece?

You cannot sell alligator snapping turtles in Louisiana anymore. Recreationally you can take one per day, per boat or vehicle. There is no size limit but you must have a fishing license.

    I'm not the law Bird Dog, but I think you would be ok leaving one, while taking the other.. I'm assuming your leaving it in a hoop net? Just wondering..

    well really I was just using that as an example but yes they were caught in a hoop net.
