Solar Panel
I am planning on storing my boat in a facility with no power. I typically go down to my camp (boat access only) and return to the landing after fishing and running my trolling motor batteries down.
When I return to the shed, I want to recharge my TM batteries while the boat sits for a week or two. Will a solar panel provide enough power to recharge the TM batteries over the course of a week (provided the sun shines)?
Has anyone ever done this and can you suggest the size panel I will need? Thanks!

Thanks pop, but did you mean 'yes' you've tried it or yes it will work over the course of a week? And what size panel did you use?
I do understand that I need the regulator.

They come rated at different amps. I have friends that have them on thier campers. We use them at work alot. They are 24' X 24' and they keep the batteries charged even when the have something drawing on them 24 hrs aday.

5 watt
This one maybe to small. At 5 watts it would take a few days, but the first one is 15 watts. Just make sure it is set to the angle to catch the most sun light.

Just make sure you get one the regulates the power so it does not over charge them.
