Great bass fishing trip (3/19/11)
We made a trip to a small lake on Saturday and tore em up! The method was 4 or 5 inch Watermelon colored Senko over the beds, and it was madness! We kept 18 bass and went through about 3 packs of Senko's. I love fishing the spawn.

Bayou Nezpique
This lake (pond) is off of Bayou Nezpique (Nep-ee-kay). I put Mermentau river because that was the closest location on the report section to where I was fishing.
The lake is privately owned. It pretty much sucks by May because of vegetation growth. The spawn is the time to get em, and I have been doing it for years.
