Going to Larto for the first time to try and catch some sac-a-lait, staying at Larto Cabins, can anyone tell me where I can get some shiners around the cabins and if the fishing is any good right now, im leaving Wednesday and fishing thursday also.

You'll have 2 places very close to where you are staying for shiner's. One is a roadside bait stand run by Grover Wiley, you can't miss it. I think it's just a little past the cabins you're staying in (I'm talking about less than a mile). The other shiner place is the convenience store just up the road. I think it's called Sander's.
