An average hard hat that I have always built lights on weighs in at 15 ounces for hat only. This is only 8 ounces more and portable. Light has two settings, low and high. Low beam will shine for 33 hours of continuous use. High beam will shine for 13 hours of continuous use. You can see at least 100 yards of clear white beam. You will not find another light capable of producing the amount of lumens that will last 13 hours on high beam and only weigh in at a total of 23 ounces. Brightest light that I've ever owned.
