Cuddy Cabin in Southeast Louisiana
Expired - 26' Allmand - $4,000.00
I have a 26' John Allemand cuddy cabin that I restored back in 06. The price is negotiable. Just about everything on this boat has been replaced. I am no longer in a position to fish in the gulf or even to maintain this boat, so I am getting rid of it. Before I waste anymore of either of our time, let me state that she is in need of some tlc. I have a brand new sterndrive still in the box that needs to be put on as well as the inner and outer transom assembly. The motor (inline GM 6 cylinder) is currently in the boat, but not hooked up. Okay, if your still interested, heres the nitty gritty. This is a list of what has been updated/replaced:
all wiring and breaker panels (2)
largest available mechanical steering and wheel
throttle controls and red jacket cables
custom made side mount stainless steel 40 gallon fuel tanks (2)
dual battery switch with locomotive cable to the batteries.
all lighting front to back and in cabin.
seating in cockpit, captains chair is a todd with teak back slats
all instruments
pinstriping down the two sides and stern.
all ropes
rod holders on sides including one custom made rocket launcher
both fuel caps
electronics: furuno gps, ratheon depthfinder (large), raymarine vhf and new 8' antennaes
all four bearings in trailer
now with that said, I have redone all of the topside paint, but approximatly 30% is in need of being redone again. the floor is fine, but the top of the gunwhale all the what around to the bow needs to be repainted.
The bimini is a mess. the frame is fine, but the fabric is shot.
The trailer she sits on is a tandem axle. Its a large heavy boat, a toyota truck will not be able to stop it. She cruises at 26-28 with a top out around 33 mph. I have used it in lake ponchartrain alot as well as the rigolets. However she draws about 2 1/2 feet of water so beware of shallow water. Its a heavy boat like I said so it handles weather very well. If you have any questions shoot me an email. From there we can talk over the phone. I am open to trades also. I am looking for a 16-18 foot flat with around a 40hp give or take. 90% of the major work and cost has been done on this boat, so getting her wet again should be minimal.
