Did you know that the Minn Kota Talon can be stolen in about one minute with only a 1/2' wrench or socket and ratchet and wire cutters so don't let the jailbirds get your Talon get a TaL-LocK security kit and make it almost impossible for the crooks to get your Talon !!!! The TaL-lock now is made of 6061 aluminum all the parts that come with it are made of 316 stainless steel or aluminum. We proudly make this product in our shop in U.S.A.,Texas by hand so we are able to control quality to it's best. How the TaL-Lock works is it replaces the lower nylock adjustment locking nut on the new style angle adjusting mount with a SPECIAL 6061 ALUMINUM PLATE specially made to fit and align to one of the existing mount angle adjusting holes to insert a STAINLESS STEEL SECURITY LOCKING BOLT (That takes a special security wrench included in the kit to install) AND SECURITY BREAKAWAY NUT OR NYLOCK NUT and 271 thread locker on the bolt and nut to secure the Talon. Once the plate is secure and the thread locker has cured (takes a couple of hours to cure) and locked the Talon can't be removed until the locking device is removed with the special security tool and the plate unscrewed.The TaL-Lock is easy to install in most cases 20 to 45 minutes or less depending on mechanical skills(detailed instructions included).The TaL-Lock can be installed on both sides if you would like to double your security you can purchase two one for each side.If you have any questions please email us @ info@shadycajin.com or place an order here !!!!
