Gadwall are you aware that hurricanes rita & most recently gustav in 08 flooded lafitte and westwego worse than ever before and the very next year cataouache had the best year ever as far as quality goes..... spring of 09 when you were seeing 5-10 pound bass on the norm.....Do you realize how long it takes to grow a fish of that size? Did all fish die?NO

GADWALL if they did not spray the grass,can you explain what happend to all the grass that came up on the southeast side last year and then was gone withen a matter of a week or two?...MARRERODUCKMAN'S other post about that says it all.2...I fish the basin and enjoy catching 13'bass, but would rather catch bigger for sure.
The only people not in favor of the slot besides a few tournment guys are people who would rather eat 3-5 pound bass, they are not happy with 10 between 1-3 pounds,..... and as stated earlier basically nothing changes for the guys who fish for food........and yes I love to eat 1 POUND BASS
