You are wrong about the public land in Venice. There is not much public land except on the reserve. Most of the land in Plaquemines Parish is private land. You are probably trespassing. I know where I have land and hunt. I am always running people out because they think it is public land. A lot of people who own land down here are sick and tired of people coming and thinking they can hunt anywhere they want to. I do not mind people hunting but ask first. And don't go in my blind and think that if I am not there it is ok to hunt in it.
