Mansfield man ordered to pay more than $6,000 for wildlife violations

A 30-year-old Mansfield man was recently convicted in both Desoto and Bossier parishes for selling deer and squirrel meat to an undercover enforcement agent, resulting in more than $6,000 in civil restitution, fines and court costs.

The 23-year-old Mandeville bowhunter encountered a big 10-point four times in two days on property his uncle owns in East Carroll Parish — but he was finally able to seal the deal on Friday, Oct. 5.
