In early December, the Washington State Fish and Wildlife Commission will consider a ban of lead tackle in lakes known to be home to the common loon despite inconclusive scientific evidence. Washington sportsmen should send comments asking the Commission to reject the proposal by December first to ensure their voice is heard.

Obama on Monday was in China, having wrapped up the Japan leg of his Asia trip two days earlier. But Washington's punditocracy was still weighing whether or not the US president had disgraced his country two days earlier by having taken a deep bow at the waist while meeting Japan's Emperor Akihito.
"I'll bet if you look at pictures of world leaders over 20 years meeting the emperor in Japan, they don't bow," Kristol said.
Some said the gesture was particularly grating coming after Obama's bow to Saudi Arabia's King Abdullah at a G20 meeting in April.

william jefferson, just sentenced to 13 years in prison!! not bad, but in my opinion, not good enuf!!! he should have got the full sentence, at least 23 years!! he is an elected official and the law should be a lot more tough on them, than a regular person!! he will only have to serve a little over, 11 years, not near enuf!! we will have to wait and see, if they will let him spend the holidays with is crooked family and report to prison in january, unless he skips the country to africa, which i think he will!! i think he needs to go to prison, like now, now, now, just like we would have to do!!! he is a crook, crook, crook!!!!!! the heck on him!!!!!!! what a piece of trash!!!!! the sad part ..... I Can't Believe This
I was just glancing at the Yahoo home page and saw a photo of that idiot Micheal Moore. Usually I don't pay him any mind, but this time was different. Next to that yellow back coward was the story of a soldier that was recently killed in action. This soldier had saved the lives of six of his Ranger buddies before being mortally wounded.
On top of this, his organs were flown home and used to save the lives of Americans waiting for transplants. How in the hell does that piece of trash wind up on the same page as a potential Medal Of Honor recipient.
This is disgusting. How did we get in this mess? What has this country come to? Where is the honor? It's not cute anymore.
