Fishing Cocodrie / DuLarge in South Central Louisiana

To fish or not fish?
My family and I were planning to head down to Cocodrie this weekend, but this afternoon the weatherman has issued a COASTAL FLOOD WARNING... abnormally high tides.

Probably going to cancel the trip. Any of you going to ignore the warning and head down to do some fishing anyways?

High Tide?
Well I got a later start than I wanted but we did get to the camp in Leeville about 9pm. The tide is three hours from high peek and has not entered the parking lot at Boudreaux's yet so I don't expect the 1-3' above normal and predicted earlier in the morning. I will post again after the morning trip.

3-4 feet above high tide...
I think we are going to cancel with forecasts of 3-4 feet above high tide. The boat will float, but my truck will not! Let me know how it turns out.

Cheers and good luck.
