Wildgame customer service
Wow is all I can say about the folks at Wildgame! I had bought the "Double Pack" of cameras that they sold at Cabela's last year. I went last week to check the cameras. All I had were 8's running across my screen. Not being good at fixing electrical stuff I thought I might have to toss these and "upgrade" to another brand. I decided to call their customer service number. I actually got an American voice who was very knowledgeable about their product. The gentlemen on the other end of the line was able to help me fix the camera. Come to find out it was a loose spring for the batteries that was not allowing the camera to operate properly. I left one in the woods. I guess new batterie ..... Read More

roof for pop up
I have some land to hunt that I keep my pop up camper on. I would like to put a roof over it so I can keep it popped up so I don't have to set it up in the dark or while its raining. It will only be there for duck season so I'd rather not spend too much money. You guys think a tarp with some heavy duty poles would last? Or any other suggestions? Thanks, Craig

Specifics
Again, we need specific information. E-mail me (andyc@lasmag.com) and tell me exactly what problems you are finding or what you don't like about it. Without that information we can't address it.

We value the input, and are working to provide what you as users want. So please shoot me an e-mail.

And also remember that the old view is still available: Simply click "Reports" at the top of the page, and you can use it just as you always have. Nothing's changed in that view.

Has anyone been able to return rods to Academy???
I broke an All Star rod yesterday and thought no big deal, I'll just return it at Academy. Well when I went to return it today I was told that as of Jan 1rst, they are no longer accepting returns on broken rods and that I would have to go through the manufacturer. I spends alot of money at Academy and would expect them to take it back being they are a vendor of All Star Rods. My rod broke about 8-10" from the tip (7 ft rod) and the manager told me that I would probably have a hard time replacing it because it "broke at the tip" and rods just don't do that. Boy was I some pissed...I asked him if he fished because anyone who does knows that if a rod is going to break it will happen at the ..... Read More

SEC officials
This is the third game against an SEC team in which the officials have allowed Florida to win games due to their poor officiating. They scored TDS against LSU, Arkansas and Miss. State that should have been called back due to penalties. These bad calls have been cited each week, with one crew suspended but Florida still remains as # 1 and is a bad blemish on the SEC as a whole. If these schools Flordia played would have been Pac 10 or Big 10 there would be a national outcry!!

4 wheeler Question
I am toying with the idea of buying a 4 wheeler cause i don't have one. How important do you think the 4 wheel drive is here in Louisiana. The cost between 2 and 4 drive is fairly good but its pretty flat here. When using your 4 wheelers what percentage of the time do you really need 4 wheel drive. I want it mainly for fun riding on weekends and to maybe help hall a deer during hunting season. Any advise is appreciated. ChefRonT

Help us
If there are problems with the new forum, please e-mail me with specifics. I've received exactly one e-mail about a minor problem. It is a beta version, and we can't fix what we don't know about. Shoot me an e-mail telling me what happened with as many specifics as possible & we'll get on it.

We knew some people would prefer not to change, so that's why we kept the kept the ability to keep using it. Just click "Reports" at the top of the page, and everything will look and work just as it has for years.

We appreciate the input and support as we look for new ways to serve you.

No problem
You can still use the reports without ever seeing the forum view. The Forum view is just another way to view the reports on the site, especially if you're trying to find topics which interest you quickly.

Giant Wolf ?????
I got this email of a BIG Wolf. I don't know if this is true or not. BUTT DARN HE'S BIG , here is the story that came with the picture This Wolf was shot recently in Drayton Valley, Alberta....which is near Edmonton about 3 hours North of Calgary. The wolf weighs over 230lbs smashing the previous record of 175lbs. Wouldn't want to run into this puppy in the woods. A bear hunter allegedly witnessed this wolf chase off a big black bear at his baiting station.

Police Jury trying to run WMA
I just read in today's paper that the Rapides Parish Police Jury is trying to get LDWF to cancel some deer days in the Dewey Wills WMA (Saline). They are trying to do this due to the high water forcing the deer to high ground making them easy picking. In the past there have been people riding in boats and shooting deer. My question to all is, Should they cancel deer season, restrict it to the dry side of the diversion canal, or just restrict deer hunting from boats, which I think is illegal anyway??? Just wanted to get some opinions. Thanks guys.

Custom Boat
Hey guys. I am looking into having a boat built. I want a 16 foot semi-v. I'd like it to be 48" or wider. A short deck up front and one bench seat in back. I want a lifetime hull with real freaking craftmanship. I want real welds, a real strong transom, a really wide open center. I am so tired of compromising on features and quality. I want to be able to plow over an Academy tin can boat and cut it in half. Who knows someone who can build? Who knows who shouldn't build it? Who has an idea of what it should cost? Help please

Betrayed
Once a year, Rep. Anh "Joseph" Cao gives the Washington establishment a little jolt. On Saturday night, he handed Democrats their only Republican vote on the centerpiece of their domestic agenda, a massive overhaul of the nation's health care system that promises to enhance coverage for tens of millions of Americans and thousands of Cao's constituents. Now he's a bit of a cult hero on the left — a profile in courage, Democrats say — and television bookers were scrambling to find cell phone numbers for his aides Sunday. Cao, also had a compelling reason to break ranks — the freshman represents a heavily African-American, solidly Democratic district
