Hackney targets lunker bass on Mississippi’s New Arbor Lake

New Sportsman TV episode details how Hack rigs up swim jig and trailer

Sportsman TV ventured out in search of largemouth lunkers as Greg Hackney traveled to New Arbor Lake in Mississippi in pursuit of some big-time bass.

He and producer Jared Serigné joined up with local fisherman David St. Pierre on the trip, and even though rain interrupted the fishing, Hack had success catching lots of bass on crankbaits and swim jigs.

Early on, Hack threw Strike King’s Lucky Shad crankbait in natural shad, then switched over to a 1/4-ounce Hack Attack heavy cover swim jig in blue craw, with a green pumpkin/blue sapphire Rage Craw trailer.

If you’ve ever wondered how a Bassmaster Elite pro rigs up his trailer and swim jig, be sure to watch as Hackney details exactly how he does it during the rain delay.
