MSU’s ‘Deer Hunt’ app useful from the stand

Free app is available now on iTunes

Instead of just playing Angry Birds or Scrabble from the box stand, your smartphone can actually be used for hunting purposes, like recording deer sightings and even estimating Boone & Crockett measurements.

Thanks to a new iPhone app from Mississippi State University’s Deer Lab, you can already do this and more, like reserving a stand at your hunting club or estimating live weight from dressed weight.
