Gonzales Bassmaster Elite Series pro retains lead after Day 3 in Russellville
Greg Hackney holds a slim 13-ounce lead over Rick Clunn heading into Day 4 of the Bassmaster Elite at Lake Dardanelle.
Hackney completed his third solid day on the Arkansas River impoundment with 16 pounds, 10 ounces and a three-day total of 56 pounds, 8 ounces.
Through Day 3 at Dardanelle, he also edged into first place in the Toyota Angler of the Year standings, one point ahead of Mark Davis.
Clunn weighed in 19 pounds, 8 ounces on Saturday for a three-day total of 55 pounds, 11 ounces.
Cliff Crochet, of Pierre Part, finished up his second consecutive 19-pound day, weighing in 19 pounds, 2 ounces for a three-day total of 52 pounds, 5 ounces – good for fifth place.
