Crochet to fish Sunday at Evan Williams Bourbon Bassmaster Elite, 6-9 behind Rojas
Pierre Part’s Bassmaster Elite Series pro Cliff Crochet turned in a 5-fish sack weighing a hefty 20-6 Saturday afternoon to qualify for the Top 12 and a chance to win the Evan Williams Bourbon Bassmaster stop at Toledo Bend on Sunday.
Crochet is currently in 9th place, and trails leader Dean Rojas by just more than 6 pounds.
Greg Hackney of Gonzales fished Saturday, but could only muster a 14-6 sack and finished 34th with 44-10 in three days at the Bend.
