Pierre Part’s Bassmaster Elite Series pro Cliff Crochet turned in a 5-fish sack weighing a hefty 20-6 Saturday afternoon to qualify for the Top 12 and a chance to win the Evan Williams Bourbon Bassmaster stop at Toledo Bend on Sunday.†

Crochet is currently in 9th place, and trails leader Dean Rojas by just more than 6 pounds.

Greg Hackney of Gonzales fished Saturday, but could only muster a 14-6 sack and finished 34th with 44-10 in three days at the Bend.

The Top 12 blastoff at 6:20 a.m. Sunday, with public viewing available at Cypress Bend Park.

The finals weigh-in begins at 3:15 Sunday afternoon.
