Sportsman TV host Greg Hackney picked a great spot to test out some of Strike King’s new bass lures — Miller’s Lake at Grosse Savanne Waterfowl and Wildlife Lodge in Cameron Parish.

In this episode, which airs tonight at 6:30 on Cox Sports Television,  Hackney tries out a variety of lures to prep for the Bassmaster Elite Series and the FLW Tour on the 484-acre bass fisherman’s dream, featuring 7 miles of canals and trails through the marsh flats.

Hackney and Sportsman TV producer Jared Serigné were hosted by Grosse Savanne’s  Doug Miller and Karl Zimmermann, and Hackney put a hurtin’ on the bass.

Wwhile he was there, Hackney also accepted delivery of his very own Xpress boat from Rory Hendron and Clay Connor, so despite foggy conditions, he had a great day on the water.

Sportsman TV airs on Cox Sports Television every Thursday night at 6:30, as well as Saturday mornings at 8:30 and Sunday mornings at 9.
