Sportsman TV host Greg Hackney sets the hook on an Atchafalaya Basin bass in tonight's episode of Sportsman TV, which airs at 6:30 p.m. on CST.
Sportsman TV ventures into the Atchafalaya Basin as Greg Hackney pursues largemouth bass in advance of the Louisiana Bass Championship Open this weekend in Stephensville.
He and producer Jared Serigné launched from Doiron’s Landing in chilly conditions and covered some serious ground, finding bass holding on patches of coontail and under mats.
Most fish were caught on Strike King’s Hack Attack swim jig or their red eye shad lipless crankbait.
If you’re fishing the Louisiana Sportsman Bass Championship Open this weekend, be sure to check out this episode for some of Hackney’s ideas on where the fish might be located.
