Sportsman TV host Greg Hackney shares his observations on finding current, locating fish and great lures to use in the Atchafalaya Basin when fishing for largemouth bass on tonight's episode of Sportsman TV.
Watch Cox Sports Television tonight at 6:30 as host Greg Hackney heads into the Atchafalaya in pursuit of some nice Basin bass.
He and producer Jared Serigné enjoyed a good day, catching fish pretty much all day long, including a nice 5-pounder.
Fish were holding tight on the down current side of the cypress trees, and most were caught on Strike King’s pure poison swim jig.
If you’re fishing the Louisiana Sportsman Bass Championship Open March 15 and 16 at Doiron’s Landing in Stephensville, be sure to check out this episode for some of Hackney’s observations on current, fish location and prime lure selection.
