Costa introduces the new Hamlin model to kick off 2014

Extra-large fit features wrap shape to protect against glare

To kick off the new year, Costa Sunglasses recently introduced the Hamlin model, the first of its new styles for 2014.

Named after legendary billfish angler Capt. Ron Hamlin, the design features co-injected nylon molded frames, sturdy integral hinges and no-slip Hydrolite nose pads and temple tips.

The extra-large fit features a wrap-around shape to protect against incoming glare, and comes in tortoise, matte black, blackout and white frames. In late spring, a Realtree Xtra Camo frame also will be available.

The Hamlin is available in 580 lens technology, which blocks yellow light from entering the eye and creates razor sharp color enhancement with the highest polarization level possible. It’s available in either plastic or glass lenses in gray, amber, copper, blue mirror, green mirror or sunrise for low light situations.

Built and hand-assembled in Dayton Beach, Fla., the Hamlin comes with a lifetime warranty against manufacturer’s defect and retails starting at $169.
